
A Nelson woman suffered moderate injuries after a truck pulled into the path of her vehicle on a Pettis County highway.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash just before 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 in the northbound lanes of U.S. Route 65 at Route D. The patrol reports that a Mack truck driven by a 64-year-old from Sedalia went eastbound through the intersection when it went in front of a van driven by a 56-year-old woman from Nelson. The van struck the right side of the trailer the truck was pulling. The van’s driver was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment. No injuries were reported for the truck driver.
