Rhonda Sue Crumbaugh, 75, of rural Slater, died Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Slater, with Rev. Paul List officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Cemetery, with Tony Johnson, Brad Edwards, Ron Bledsoe, Chris Blumhorst, Nathan Crumbaugh and Brett Crumbaugh serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Community Cancer Center in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.

Born August 14, 1949 in Waynesville, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Alice Miller Cook. On July 16, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri, she married Ira A. Crumbaugh, Jr., and he preceded her in death on August 9, 2023.

She is survived by three sons, Daniel Crumbaugh and his wife Dawn of rural Miami, Jack Crumbaugh and his wife Cindy of rural Marshall, and Jeremy Crumbaugh of Ogden, Utah; a daughter, Dana Cordell and her husband Lane of Marble Hill, Missouri; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Michael Cook; a sister, Sandra Thompson; and a granddaughter.

Mrs. Crumbaugh was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Slater. She was a 1967 graduate of Marshall High School, and worked as an Aide for the Marshall Habilitation Center for twenty-five years until her retirement.
