A Richmond man was killed after his pickup truck left a Ray County highway Tuesday, Jan. 21.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred after 5 p.m. on Route W, east of Cardinal Road and about three miles north of Stet. Troopers say the truck went off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. The truck then crossed an open field and struck a tree. The 59-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
