A one-vehicle crash south of Stover resulted in the vehicle’s driver sustaining moderate injury.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 3:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. According to troopers, the 39-year-old woman from Stover was driving south on Route 135 about eight miles south of the city when troopers say she fell asleep and went off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree and then overturning. The driver was taken to an Osage Beach hospital. Troopers say she had not been wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
