Saline County voters who need to cast their ballots in the April 8 election absentee but aren’t able to pay a visit to the county clerk’s office have the opportunity to request their ballots by mail.
County Clerk Brittni Burton advises voters needing to do so to submit their mail-in requests soon to allow enough time to complete the voting process.
Burton notes that voters who reside in residential care facilities will have a dedicated opportunity to cast their ballots.
Absentee voting begins Tuesday, Feb. 25 across Missouri for those with a valid excuse. Those not wanting to specify an excuse may vote absentee beginning March 25.
