A Leeton woman was taken to an area hospital after losing control of her vehicle in Pettis County on Saturday, March 1.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 10:25 on U.S. Route 50, near the intersection with Prairie Grove Road. Troopers report that the 67-year-old driver of an SUV experienced a medical issue as she was driving eastbound, causing her to go across the median and westbound lanes before striking a fence. She suffered moderate injury in the crash and was taken to a Warrensburg hospital for treatment.
