The Sedalia 200 Board of Education approved P.J. Ximinies as assistant principal at Sedalia Middle School, effective July 1, 2025.
The announcement came after the board’s its March 3 meeting. The movement of fourth grade to SMS starting in the 2025-26 school year created the need for an additional administrative position at the school.
Ximinies is currently an instructional coach at Heber Hunt Elementary School, a role he has held for the past two school years. He previously served as a fifth-grade science teacher at SMS from 2019-2021, a seventh- and eighth-grade science teacher at Ewing Marion Kauffman School in Kansas City (2021-22) and a science teacher at Smith-Cotton Junior High (2022-23).
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2019 from Missouri Valley College in Marshall and a master’s degree in Educational Administration in 2021 from Missouri Valley.
