During her remarks at KMMO Ag Day on the Mull Family Farm outside Malta Bend on Thursday, March 13, Missouri Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn updated attendees on a pair of developments from Washington.

Chinn tells KMMO News that she is hopeful that the Environmental Protection Agency’s newest effort to revise its Waters of the United States definition is the last they’ll attempt.

Chinn also advised attendees of one recent cut made by USDA that will impact fruit and vegetable producers.

During her remarks to the over 120 attendees at KMMO Ag Day, Chinn commended Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe for his regular visits with lawmakers around the state capitol, touching base on their progress as well as his priorities.
