Civil Air Patrol NCR-MO-009 Sedalia Cadet Flight Civil Air Patrol is holding a fundraiser to raise funds to defray costs for our team of cadets to participate in the world’s largest rocketry competition. This competition is called the American Rocketry Challenge. The Sedalia Cadet Flight is competing against over 1,000 teams nationwide. Fifteen teams are participating from the state of Missouri. The top 100 teams are selected for a national final contest outside Washington DC. The top 10 teams split a prize pool of approximately $100,000 split between team members and their school/organization. The team that achieves First Place will represent the USA at the Paris Air Show in Paris France in the summer of 2025 against the winning teams representing the United Kingdom, France, and Japan.
