The City of Sedalia will close two intersections at separate points next week as part of a water main replacement project.
Crews will close the intersection of South Grand and Clinton Road on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Then on Thursday, April 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., crews will close South Grand just north of the intersection with South 24th Street. The closures are part of the project to replace the water main that runs along South Grand between South 20th and 24th streets.
During both closures, heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway, and residents who live in the area will need to coordinate with the contractor to access their driveways. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion of the project.
