
Debbie Reinitz, 71, of Sweet Springs, MO, died Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Sweet Springs with William W. Harlow officiating. There is no visitation. Born September 2, 1953, in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Roy Kaneer and Vernida Eckhoff Kaneer. Debbie lived in Sweet Springs most of her life and attended Sweet Springs High School. On May 30, 1970, she married Eddie Reinitz who survives of the home. Debbie’s career was spent in the printing business. She worked as a newspaper press operator for area newspapers as well as doing various graphic art projects. Debbie enjoyed sewing and embroidering, as well as teaching young people how to do those things. She sewed letters for letter jackets, made alterations for prom dresses, and even went and taught junior high school students the art of sewing. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sweet Springs.
In addition to her husband, Eddie; she is survived by two daughters, Amy Winston (Carl) and Kelley Weber (Danny), all of Sweet Springs; four grandchildren: Joshua Weber (Abby), Zachary Weber (Allie), Shane Winston, Lindsey Winston (Jantz Sullivan); and one great-grandson; Lucas Weber.
