A two-vehicle crash on Interstate-70 left two Holden residents injured on Friday, April 11.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 63-year-old Holden man slowed down for congestion on eastbound I-70 near Mile Marker 111. The vehicle was then struck from behind when a Hummer driven by a 19-year-old Decatur, Alabama man failed to stop.
The 63-year-old Holden man and a 60-year-old passenger in the vehicle were both taken to University Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
The accident occurred at 6:35 p.m. on I-70 in Cooper County.
