Born March 9, 1956, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Leonard Dale Adcock and Shirley Ann Spreitzer Adcock.  Mike lived in Saline County all of his life and was a 1974 graduate of Malta Bend High School.  On March 4, 2000, he married Judy Harlin who survives of the home.  In his younger years, Mike worked for Kiehl Farms and then worked as a mechanic for Marshall Municipal Utilities, for 21 years, until his retirement.  After retirement, farming was still in him and he returned to work for Rick Kiehl.  Mike had a natural ability to do just about anything, including carpentry, and spent many hours remodeling and refurbishing homes.  He didn’t just do those things for himself; he was always willing to help anyone who needed it.  Mike enjoyed hosting fish fry’s, and was known for his expertise and skill in frying fish, hunting morels, and spending time at their camper at Truman Lake where he enjoyed fishing and making friends.  He was just an all-around good guy that will definitely be missed.

In addition to his wife, Judy; he is survived by three children: Tyler Adcock, Brittany Adcock and Aaron Adcock, all of Marshall; three grandchildren: Riley, Madison and Charlye Adcock, all of Marshall; four siblings: Cheryl Closterman of Lexington, Patty Heil of Marathon, WI, Christie Ehlers of Shickley, NE, and Steven Adcock of Marshall; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard “Hank” and Shirley Adcock; and one sister, Janet Nance.
