Rainfall at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday, April 23 resulted in a rainout of the Royals game against the Colorado Rockies.

The two teams will have a true doubleheader Thursday afternoon, with the first game scheduled at 1:10 p.m. Cole Ragans will have the start for the Royals. Pregame coverage will begin at 12:30 p.m. on KMMO AM 1300. Game two will begin about 30 minutes after the first game concludes, with Michael Lorenzen taking the mound for KC.

Fans with tickets to today’s game will be able to attend both games, while fans who had tickets to Wednesday night’s rainout will receive a credit that can be applied toward a game later this season.
