
Missouri Department of Transportation crews are continuing pavement operations in several area counties, with lane reductions in place.
In Saline County, crews continue to apply a new surface to Route 240 between U.S. Route 65 and the split with south Route 41. The work is expected to wrap up Tuesday, May 6. Flagging operations also continue in Pettis County along Route HH for pavement operations between U.S. Route 65 and Route 135. Several lettered routes in Chariton and Linn counties are set for resurfacing this week, starting with Route W on Monday north of Salisbury, Route ZZ on Tuesday east of Marceline, and Route C on Wednesday east of Mendon.
Work continues on two Cooper County routes this week. Crews continue to resurface Route BB between Otterville and Clifton City. Afterward they’ll turn to both sections of Route PP around the Syracuse area. Crews are also completing pavement repairs this week on Routes D and O in Moniteau County, north of California.
In Morgan County, crews will begin construction Monday on a new roundabout in Versailles between Routes 52, 5 and W. Work will take place in the overnight hours.
All work zones will have one lane open, with flag crews directing traffic through the work zone. MoDOT reminds motorists to slow down in work zones, keep your phone down while driving, and buckle up.
