Glasgow Schools are preparing to send 24 of their seniors out into the world at their commencement ceremony Sunday afternoon.
The 24 seniors were certified during Wednesday night’s board of education meeting as having fulfilled the requirements to receive their diplomas this weekend. The ceremony will take place 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2025 in the Glasgow High School Gymnasium.
Also at Wednesday night’s meeting, the Glasgow school board voted to have future interest accrue on the balance of the district’s certificates of deposit. They also accepted the resignation of Amanda DeMint, who currently teaches art and coaches softball. The board then approved the hires of Molly Monnig as middle school principal and process coordinator, Naralie Moore for vocal music, Jared Wyatt for high school social studies, and Deb Fuemmeler for Parents As Teachers.
The board also voted to move their next meeting back a week to allow time to finalize the budget for the next fiscal year. The Glasgow school board will now meet June 25.
