State Fair Community College recently announced the recipients of the 2025 Instructor, Staff and Adjunct of the Year awards.

Danielle Brooks, a biology instructor, was named Instructor of the Year. Leah Mullen, a TRiO student success coach, was named Staff Member of the Year. Renee Young, a math instructor who teaches remotely, was named Adjunct of the Year for her positive and student-centered teaching approach.

All three honorees received plaques, and their photos will be displayed in the Yeater Learning Center lobby on the Sedalia campus. They also will lead the faculty and staff procession at commencement on May 16. Students nominated candidates for each honor, and a committee of student leaders selected the winners.
