
A junior from New Franklin has claimed this year’s Most Valuable Player award for the Central Activities Conference.
Lane Hackman has the conference’s top honors for the season, leading the Bulldogs to a 3-3 record in the CAC, along with an overall mark of 10-11. New Franklin senior Brandon Phillips joins Hackman on the first team, while junior Nolan McGowan and freshman Jonah Bishop have earned honorable mentions. Glasgow leads the first team with four selections: seniors Nathan Prentzler, Jackson Strodtman and AJ Westhues, and junior Bronson Foster. Slater had three first-team selections, while Cairo, Community and Sturgeon had two honorees each and Pilot Grove landed one selection.
