The Carrollton Town Council approved a bid for construction of a new concession stand and press box at one of the city’s ball fields.
The council voted at Monday night’s meeting to accept the park board’s recommendation for the facility, at a price tag of about $31,000. Mayor Keith Higgins tells KMMO News that the board had been relying on volunteer help to build the facility, but ultimately decided to go in a different direction.
The concession stand and press box bid was the only item considered during the town council’s regular session Monday, May 19.
