A Holden man was injured in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 50 in Johnson County on Tuesday, May 20.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a 2020 Kawasaki driven by an 18-year-old Holden man traveled off the left side of the road and overturned while traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 50.

The driver was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Troopers say the man was wearing the proper safety equipment.

MSHP reported the accident at 1:50 p.m. on U.S. 50 at Route AA in Johnson County.
