The Santa Fe R-X Board of Education met recently and discussed a possible increase for meal pricing for the next school year.

Superintendent Derek Lark says the increase was necessary due to rising food costs, but the board tried to keep the increase to a minimum.

Lark also spoke about some Santa Fe students competing at the MSHSAA State Track and Field Championships.

Day 1 of the competition gets started 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 23 for Classes 1, 2, and 3.
