State Fair Community College has selected and recognized four outstanding students as its 2025 Distinguished Students for their exceptional academic achievements, leadership and service. The students were honored during the college’s spring commencement ceremony on May 16, where they led the graduate processional and were acknowledged in the program.

Each year, SFCC identifies one student from each academic division whose accomplishments exemplify the college’s values of scholarship, leadership and active participation in college and community life.

This year’s recipients are Molly Prichard, Gracen Clark, Gregorio Quezada Jr., and Aleyah Chapman.

Prichard was selected as the 2025 Arts and Sciences Distinguished Student. She graduated summa cum laude with an Associate of Arts degree. Prichard served as a member and later president of the Agriculture Club and as president of TRiO. She also participated in the SFCC Collegiate Farm Bureau Program, served as a Missouri State Fair ambassador, and represented SFCC at the Missouri Community College Association Summit in Washington, D.C., advocating for community college students alongside SFCC President Dr. Brent Bates and members of the Board of Trustees.

Clark was selected as the 2025 Health Sciences Distinguished Student. Clark earned both an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support, graduating summa cum laude. She was president of the Active Minds student organization, an engaged member of TRiO, and served on the campus Issue Resolution Committee.

Quezada was selected as the 2025 Career and Technical Education Distinguished Student. He completed an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology. Chapman was selected as the 2025 Early College and Career Distinguished Student. A dual-credit student from Eugene Cole R-V High School, Chapman graduated cum laude with an Associate of Arts degree.
