
Missouri Valley College has announced the hiring of former Olympian and championship coach Shawn Dulohery to lead the Shotgun Sports program.
Dulohery is an Army veteran who finished fifth in the 2004 Olympics. He is also an accomplished collegiate head coach, with 10 Division One ACUI national championships under his belt from his coaching time at Lindenwood University.

Prior to his coaching career, Dulohery was stationed at the United States Army Marksmanship Unit for 21 years and was a shooter and instructor who represented the Army and the United States in national and world competition. While at AMU, he won several national and world titles and broke numerous records. Dulohery is a four-time NSSA International Skeet World Champion, ISSF World Champion, seven-time Inter-Service International Trap and Skeet Champion, a 2004 Olympian, and a trap Gold Medalist at the 1999 Oceanic Games and championship.
Dulohery grew up in Lee’s Summit, and he is a member of the high school’s Hall of Fame for his volunteer, coaching, and shooting accomplishments. He has a bachelor’s degree from Park University.
