Marshall Public Schools just completed the school year with a perfect score on their school bus safety inspections.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol released the results of their annual bus fleet inspections Thursday, June 5, showing that all 30 buses in the Marshall fleet passed. Transportation Director Craig Thompson says the perfect rating shows the continued diligence of his staff to ensure the safety of Marshall students.
Thompson notes that the fleet has regularly passed with a 90% or better rate for the past decade. He adds that maintaining a safe bus fleet takes a year-round effort.
Thompson also credits all of Marshall Schools’ drivers and mechanics for their role in keeping every student safe on the district’s buses.
