The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Capital Paving and Construction to complete a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 65 in Carroll and Livingston counties. Crews will begin shoulder reconstruction and roadway patching on Route 65 south of Route CC near Carrollton to north of County Road 368 near Waverly beginning Monday, June 9.

Route 65 will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place. Resurfacing will be completed this summer. The project is expected to be finished by late October.

Resurfacing and shoulder improvements are currently ongoing on Route 65 in Chillicothe and between Chillicothe and Route CC near Carrollton. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
