A Marshall man sustained serious injuries in a three-vehicle accident along U.S. 50 in Sedalia early Saturday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred as a Ford Fusion driven by a 48-year-old Marshall man crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck. The Fusion continued and then struck a Mac Truck traveling westbound.

The Marshall man was taken to university hospital for treatment. Troopers report the man was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident. Neither of the other drivers were injured in the accident.

The crash was reported at 2:30 a.m. on U.S. 50, east of Thompson Boulevard in Sedalia.
