
A Moberly teenager suffered moderate injury after falling out of an ATV on a Salisbury roadway on Saturday, June 14.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 16-year-old opened the door of the ATV she was a passenger in just before 7 p.m. Troopers say she fell out of the vehicle as it was going south on Route 129 through Salisbury. She was taken to a Moberly hospital. The driver of the ATV, a 17-year-old boy from Huntsville, had no reported injuries.
Earlier on Saturday, the Patrol responded to a crash around 3 p.m. in Henry County, after two Warsaw residents were in a vehicle that went off a highway there. Troopers report that a Toyota was heading south on Route Y, about a mile south of the Yolo community, when the vehicle crossed the center line as it went through a curve near NE 400 Road. The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a dirt embankment, overturning on the passenger side and coming to rest on its wheels facing east. The 72-year-old driver suffered moderate injuries, while her 57-year-old passenger experienced minor injury. Both were treated at a Clinton hospital.
