A two-vehicle collision east of Stover on Wednesday, June 18 resulted in injuries to three area residents.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pickup driven by an 18-year-old man from Stover was heading south on Old YY around 11:10 a.m. when he attempted to enter Route 52. The pickup drove into the path of a sedan driven by a 66-year-old man from Versailles, resulting in the sedan crashing into the pickup.

The pickup’s driver suffered moderate injury and was taken to a Columbia hospital. troopers say he was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. A 20-year-old passenger in his truck was treated for minor injuries at a Sedalia hospital. The sedan’s driver had no reported injuries, while a 51-year-old passenger received treatment at a Lake Ozark hospital for minor injuries.
