The annual fishing contest for youth takes place at the lake on Nodaway Lane, just south of the railroad tracks in Slater.

Prizes will be awarded for biggest fish, smallest fish, and most fish caught in three age groups.  Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded.

The event is free for all children 13 and under.
