A mobile home west of Marshall caught fire late Monday, June 23, resulting in the structure being considered a total loss.

Crews with the Marshall Fire Department arrived at the scene of the fire on Grouse Avenue around 11 p.m. According to the department’s report, the home was fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival. Crews requested a second tanker from Malta Bend, who helped bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported, and Marshall Fire notes that they were unable to make contact with the trailer’s owner within 24 hours of containing the blaze.
