
Dana L. Sullivan, 72, of Marshall, formerly of Slater, died Thursday, June 26, 2025 at her home.
Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slater, with Rev. Francis Doyle officiating. Prayers of the Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. prior to the services at the church. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Slater City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
Born September 24, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Richard V. and Leola Goodson Drummond.
She is survived by two sons, Gabe Sullivan (Christine) of Bend, Oregon, and Brett Sullivan (Dana) of Higginsville, Missouri; a daughter, Shae Sullivan of Slater; nine grandchildren, Aspen Sullivan, Adria Serwat, Ayla Campbell, Bernen Sullivan, Jacob Thomas, Gage Sullivan, Isabella Bingaman, Reagan Duenckel, and Riley Thompson; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Richard Drummond of Athens, Texas, Pat Drummond of Sandia Park, New Mexico, Chris Drummond of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Kip Drummond of Slater; and a sister, Robyn Venable of Slater.
Ms. Drummond was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slater. She was a 1970 graduate of Slater High School, and a 1973 graduate of St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in Kansas City. She was a Registered Nurse for over fifty years, working at Truman Medical Center, Marshall Habilitation Center, for Home Health & Hospice, the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and worked over thirty years at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall until her retirement.
