The Marshall Chamber of Commerce has announced that the city will become the new home of a balloon festival next year.
Executive director Rachel Hayworth made the announcement at the annual chamber banquet Thursday, June 26.
A balloon and kite festival had been hosted in 2023 and 2024 in Sedalia but did not return in 2025.
Meanwhile, Hayworth says the Marshall Chamber of Commerce has a busy summer schedule ahead for its members and the community.
Missouri Valley College will have its homecoming the weekend of Oct. 25.
About 100 people attended last Thursday’s annual Marshall Chamber of Commerce banquet. Photos (courtesy of the chamber) of the award winners with director Hayworth are below.
