Experience Arrow Rock is inviting the public to take part in a full day of family-friendly activities in the village to celebrate Independence Day.
Leslie Huston, of Experience Arrow Rock, says the festivities begin Friday morning with live music and the Impromptu Parade on Main Street.
Huston says anyone can participate and take part of the parade. Experience Arrow Rock will then host a potluck dinner in the shelter-house at the State Park at 7 p.m.
Following the dinner, Huston encourages visitors to stay in the park for an outdoor movie at dusk.
Huston says “Shrek” is the movie that will be showing in the park Friday night. All events are free and open to the public. More information about Friday’s festivities can be found here.
