The Carrollton R-7 School District Board of Education reviewed a report regarding the district’s summer school program during its meeting on Tuesday, July 8.

Superintendent Dr. Tinna Croy says the district reported good attendance this summer, up slightly from previous years.

Croy said students were able take part in educational trips this summer as well.

Croy also says high school students earned 89 credits while attending summer school this year.

The School Board’s next meeting is scheduled for August 12. The first day of school for the district is set for August 19.
