The Missouri State High School Activities Association will introduce video reviews at their seven Show-Me Bowl state championship football games this fall.

The MSHSAA Board of Directors approved the change at their June meeting. Communications Director Andrew Kauffman says the technology was tested at one of last year’s contests.

Kauffman says all replay requests will come from a video official, meaning coaches will not have the opportunity to challenge calls.

The first week of the high school football season is Aug. 29, with jamborees scheduled for the evening of Aug. 22. All classes of the Show-Me Bowl will take place Dec. 4-6 at Spratt Stadium on the Missouri Western State University campus in St Joseph.
