The Saline County Hazardous Waste Drop Off Facility is holding its monthly collection event on Wednesday, July 23.

The items that can be collected include solvents, pesticides, pet sprays, rat and mouse poison, oil based paint, pool chemicals, drain openers, insecticides, bleach, and glue.

Latex paint and gasoline will not be accepted.

Items can only be accepted by appointment only from 8 a.m. to noon. Residents can schedule an appointment by contacting the facility at 660-886-3945.

The drop off facility is located at 26523 245th Road in Marshall.
