The City of Sedalia’s Public Works Department will conduct mill and overlay operations this week along a section of East 16th Street.

Crews will complete the pavement work on the road from Engineer Avenue east to New York Avenue. The work will take place Monday, July 21st through Thursday, July 24th, 2025, each day from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers should expect temporary lane closures, reduced speeds, and possible delays, and are asked to use alternate routes while the work is underway. Anyone traveling in work zones is reminded to exercise caution and reduce speed to ensure the safety of crews and motorists.
