Three people were injured—one seriously—after a two-vehicle collision east of Holden on Sunday, July 20th.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 4:45 p.m., when a sedan driven by a 20-year-old woman from Warrensburg was driving north on Route O. Troopers say she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Route 58, about three miles east of Holden. That’s when her vehicle was struck by an eastbound pickup driven by a 57-year-old man from Kingsville. The Warrensburg woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Kansas City area hospital. The Kingsville driver sustained minor injuries, while a passenger in his truck incurred moderate injuries. The two were taken to another hospital for treatment.
