The Moberly City Council approved and adopted the 2025 Moberly Parks and Recreation Master Plan during its meeting on Monday, July 21.

Community Relations Manager Scott McGarvey praised Parks and Recreation Director Troy Bock and his team for their work in maintaining and improving the city’s parks systems. McGarvey says the master plan gives the department direction for projects in Fiscal Year 2025 and beyond.

The council also approved a form for Joint Central Dispatch User Agreements for dispatch services through June 30, 2026. This user agreement would allow Moberly Joint Communications to directly dispatch emergency fire services throughout the county. McGarvey said the city already had an agreement in place for ambulance services.
