The Higginsville Board of Aldermen recognized Josh Fisher at Monday night’s meeting for achieving 25 years of service to the city.
City administrator Jeanette Dobson says that Fisher has served as the water and wastewater plant operator supervisor since 2018, but started out with a different utility.
Fisher started with the City of Higginsville on July 10, 2000, and transferred to the water/wastewater department in July 2005. He’s currently involved in the process to develop the city’s new sewer treatment plant.
