A street closure will be in effect in the City of Sedalia as crews conduct mill and overlay work next week.

Mill and overlay operations are scheduled on East 16th Street, from Engineer Avenue to New York Avenue, beginning Monday, July 28, and continue through Friday, August 1. The work will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Travelers are encouraged to plan an alternate route while the work takes place. The work is weather and equipment depending.
