The last remaining full hook-up campsites at the Missouri State Fair’s public campground become available Friday morning at 9 a.m.

Fair director Jason Moore says the sites will be first-come and first-serve, with camping units able to line up at 7 a.m. through the Centennial Gate off U.S. Route 65.

Once the unreserved hook-up sites are claimed, only dry camping will be available for campers without a reservation. Spot rental is $45 per day, plus a service charge if paying by credit card. Anyone seeking to enter the campgrounds Friday morning will have to enter through the Centennial Gate. After 1 p.m., all campers will be able to access the campgrounds through the designated entrances off Clarendon Road.

Moore also reminds fairgoers that tickets for the Grandstand concerts and motorsports are available for purchase at the State Fair box office and through the fair’s website, MOStateFair.com. He also cautions against buying Grandstand tickets from anyone other than the fair or their authorized ticket vendor, ETix.

Advance admission tickets and carnival wristbands are available for sale until the start of the fair Aug. 7. More details about the Missouri State Fair are available on the fair’s website.
