
The City of Sedalia is conducting a maintenance project on East 16th Street and South Hancock Avenue this week.
Milling and paving work is taking place on East 16th from Engineer Avenue to New York Avenue, and on South Hancock from East 13th to East 16th. The work began Monday morning will continue until 6 p.m. Friday, August 8.
Residents should plan alternate routes and use caution in active work zones.
The city will also be performing other maintenance projects later this month. Crews will be refreshing paint at school zone areas throughout Sedalia August 17-22 during overnight hours to minimize traffic disruption.Temporary lane restrictions will be in effect.
The city will also partner with the Pettis County Road and Bridge Department to complete roadway improvements on Cambridge Drive from 32nd Street to B Highway from August 18-22.
