A two-vehicle collision on U.S. Route 63 south of Moberly on Monday, Aug. 4 resulted in injuries to one of the drivers involved.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that at around 3:50 p.m., an SUV driven by a 53-year-old man from Huntsville was heading south on the highway, when a pickup driven by an 87-year-old Bevier man pulled into its path at an intersection, resulting in the collision. The Huntsville driver incurred moderate injury and was taken to a nearby hospital. No injuries were reported for the pickup’s driver. Troopers say both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
