A Higbee woman was injured after being ejected from her ATV on Monday, August 4.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when an ATV driven by a 32-year-old Higbee woman overturned as she turned onto a private drive on Route AA, five miles south of Moberly. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.

The Higbee woman was dealt moderate injuries in the accident, and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver was reportedly not wearing the proper safety equipment at the time of the accident.

The accident was reported at 9 p.m. Monday in Randolph County.
