A Clinton man was treated for moderate injuries after his pickup ran off a highway north of Warrensburg on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at around 3:40 p.m., a pickup driven by the 57-year-old went off the left side of northbound Route 13 as it approached the roundabout with Business 13 and NW 435 Road. Troopers say the truck became airborne and crossed the intersection, then went off the left side of the road again before striking a fixed object. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital. Troopers add that the driver had not been wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
