The Concordia R-2 Board of Education discussed and adopted the district’s 2025-2026 tax levy during its meeting on Wednesday, August 13.

Superintendent Theresa Christian says the district’s assessed valuation increased by almost 11 percent for 2025. She notes the total levy was set at $4.4770 for 2025-2026.

Board members also approved a transportation contract with the Santa Fe School District.

In other news, the Board of Education set the tuition rate for non-resident students at $13,353.11 for the upcoming school year. The first day of school for the district is Tuesday, August 19.
