The Concordia Board of Aldermen approved a bill to place stop signs on residential areas along Southwest 9th and 10th Streets during its meeting on Monday, August 18.

City Administrator Dale Klussman said the board discussed this item during a previous meeting. He says the board took action after a recommendation from Planning and Zoning.

The board also set the city’s Tax Levy for the next fiscal year. The board held a public hearing prior to the meeting, but received no public comments. The rate was then approved at $.8686 per $100 assessed valuation.
