
Three area residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Missouri Highway E in Pettis County on Thursday, August 21.
A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Sedalia woman failed to stop at a stop sign at the T-intersection of Dove Road and Highway E, striking a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Windsor woman.
The Windsor driver was dealt moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Bothwell Hospital for treatment. The Sedalia driver had serious injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center. Another passenger in the Sedalia driver’s vehicle had minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.
The accident was reported at 12:35 p.m.
