The City of Sedalia is moving forward with an important infrastructure improvement along Grand Avenue and is inviting qualified contractors to submit bids for the 2026-005 Grand Avenue Water Main Replacement Project.

Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of the City Clerk, until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2. Bids will then be publicly opened in the Council Chambers. All proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope clearly marked “2026-005 GRAND AVENUE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT” and include the bidder’s name. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.

The work involves the replacement of approximately 5,045 linear feet of water main, along with pavement repair, surface restoration, erosion control, and other associated improvements. These upgrades are designed to ensure reliable water service for residents and businesses while extending the lifespan of Sedalia’s utility infrastructure.
